Ter Stegen will move to Girona on-loan for the remainder of the season, with the move to be closed early next week.

Local reporter Nila Sola stated on Cadena SER: "The three-way agreement between Girona FC, Barca and Ter Stegen is now in it's final stages.
"The last details are being settled to close the loan of the German goalkeeper, who will play at Montilivi until June.
"Ter Stegen will accept a cut on wages on the understanding Girona will pay what they can afford."
Ter Stegen is making the move after dropping to third-choice on the goalkeeper's pecking order at Barca and having been warned that he needs regular football to be sure of his place in Germany's World Cup squad.
