PSG won on penalties against Flamengo after the match had finished 1-1 following extra-time, with Russia international Matvey Safonov making an amazing four saves in the shootout.
Luis said afterwards: "First of all, it was an incredible, magical, and historic season. The players made Flamengo's history, and they could have done even better if the pressure had been on us. It's a very high-performing and ambitious group, and I'm convinced it will remain so.
"As for the future, it's not the time to talk about that. I'm disappointed by this defeat. But it's not entirely up to me."
The former Atletico Madrid defender also said: “I think everything is difficult against PSG. They have an incredible squad, the best coach in the world.
"Their tactics are a true masterpiece. I'm a fan of Luis Enrique, and the players played fantastically. They deserved to win. We went far, we lost because of small details. I'm very proud of my team."
