Bellingham, 22, has been carrying a shoulder injury for over a year after suffering a dislocation against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023.
The England international decided to finally address the issue and go under the knife after Real Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
Initial reports had suggested that he won’t return to action until the end of October, but he is now looking likely to return sooner than initially expected.
According to Marca, Bellingham is preparing to return to training on Monday (September 8), a significant step towards pulling that famous white shirt on again.
The report adds that Real Madrid are maintaining a ‘zero risk’ policy, however, and will not rush the central midfielder back.
