Manchester City face Newcastle United in the FA Cup this weekend and will be without 4 key players for the clash.

City dropped points on Wednesday, as they were forced to succumb to a 2-2 home draw with Nottingham Forest which has seriously damaged their Premier League title chances.

The clash between both sides is the fifth time the two teams have met in all competitions this season as each club aims to book a place in the Quarter Final.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won 18 of their last 20 games in the FA Cup over the last four seasons and will seek to blow Newcastle out of the water on their hunt for their first piece of silverware this season.

However, Josko Gvardiol (Calf/Shin/Heel Injury), Max Alleyne (other) and Nico O'Reilly (ankle / foot) are all out with Guardiola providing a small update on O’Reilly in his Friday press conference.

“He feels better, we will see today.”

In midfield Mateo Kovacic (Ankle/Foot Injury) is also out for the clash as Guardiola looks towards Rico Lewis, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki to fill the gaps.

The good news for Guardiola is that with Erling Haaland returning to action against Forest after missing the win over Leeds, City are almost back at full strength as they build towards another trophy under his reign.

Meanwhile, Newcastle will be without the suspended Jacob Ramsey as well as Bruno Guimaraes (hamstring), Fabian Schar (ankle), Emil Krafth (knee) and Lewis Miley (thigh) and Tino Livramento (hamstring).
