The 21-year-old has been out of action since the end of January with a hamstring injury but was expected to return sooner rather than later.

Speaking after Chelsea’s comfortable 7-0 FA Cup quarter final win over League One Port Vale, Rosenior revealed Gittens has picked up a fresh injury.
“Unfortunately, Jamie (Gittens) in training yesterday picked up what looks like another hamstring injury. We need to scan him and make sure he's okay,” he said.
Gittens has seriously struggled to adapt to life at Chelsea, scoring just one goal and providing five assists in 27 games.
