Everton manager David Moyes has spoken to the media ahead of this weekend's clash with West Ham United.

Everton have now lost each of their last two game despite their fine start to the season, facing West Ham who have lost five of their six matches this season seems like the perfect chance to bounce back.

Potter will find success again

Moyes firstly commented on Hammers boss Graham Potter whose job is hanging by a thread at the moment.

"I never think it is correct when a manager comes under great criticism. Graham Potter is an excellent manager and his record at Brighton and getting the Chelsea job, you don't get those jobs without having quality.

"Obviously he is finding it difficult but I have no doubt he'll find success.

"This business does not mean everyone can deliver a trophy."

Rotation incoming?

He was next asked on rotating his side for this weekend's clash after a tough EFL Cup 2-0 loss against Wolves in midweek.

"I've got nobody knocking on my door.

"It is my choice and my decision who plays and I pick the people who I think are ready to play and are prepared to play and it is all my decision and nothing to do with them (the players)."

Branthwaite injured once again

Finally, some team news as Moyes confirms that injury prone defender Jarrad Branthwaite will miss the clash in another disappointing blow for the England international.

"He will not be available for Monday and neither is Merlin (Rohl).

"We are expecting Jarrad back shortly but just not quite yet.

"We are disappointed he re-injured himself... we will get him back, he is really important for us."
