A January signing last season from Gent, Nardi is firmly established as QPR manager Julien Stephan's No1 this term.
And after spending the year in London, the 31 year-old admits he's loving life on and off the pitch at Loftus Road.
"To be fair, I love it," Nardi told Tribalfootball.com. "Last season was incredible for me. The season was very tough, but we finished very well and stayed in the Championship.
"It was the goal, the main target last season. And yeah, it was very difficult. But I really enjoyed playing at Loftus Road. It's something very special."
QPR fans a unique experience
Indeed, in a career that has included AS Monaco and Lorient in Ligue 1, Nardi says the experience of being a home player at Loftus Road is something unique.
The Frenchman explained: "I don't know how to describe it, but I've never played in a place where I feel the atmosphere was so close to the team.
"I remember last season when we were in trouble, when we'd lose and lose, and the fans continued to support us. I think we as players are very lucky to play for Queen's Park Rangers and to have fans like this.
"That's why playing in England... it's special. There's some good grounds with top atmospheres - not only at Loftus Road. There's some good teams amongst the 24 in the Championship. I would say it's definitely the toughest league in the world."
While QPR has stumbled in recent games, before the last international break the team went on a winning run which saw them sitting inside the top six. For Nardi, the victories were welcome, though he insists it is important to maintain perspective no matter their results in such a tight competition.
He continued: "I think for everybody in the building we like to stay very humble. I think in the end that's the personality of the coach. But we all enjoy seeing smiles on the fans' faces.
"We just want to focus on improving as a team and I think the club has similar ideas in terms of development as well.
"We just need to keep pushing eachother and find consistency in our results."

We're humans, not computers!
As for personal targets, Nardi feels the same way: steady improvement while remaining realistic.
The 31 year-old explained, "To be fair, I don't care about stats. I think my one goal is to win points for my team, to help my team when they need me, and just to be an impact player for my team. I think that's my only goal.
"And the stats... I remember some seasons when I didn't play very well and I had some good stats. And in reverse, when I played a good season, my stats were not so good, because sometimes you concede goals you're expected to, so I'm not the guy who has really loved stats.
"We are humans, we are not like computers! But I do know I need to continue to work on improving everything in my game."
As for this season, despite the current dip, under Stephan, QPR have shown they're capable of putting a run of results together and competing for a playoff place. But for Nardi, his ambitions only rest with the next game.
He says: "We just dream about winning the next game. I think we are very clever, we are very humble. And yeah, we must not forget where we were at the start of this season and last season.
So, yeah, let's just keep our feet on the ground."
