The 18-year-old progressed through academy football at both West Ham United and Manchester City, who clearly think the teenager is ready to make the move to gain first team experience with the Championship side.
Mukasa his first senior appearance in the pre-season friendly against Palermo in August 2025 and has since caught the eye of manager Pep Guardiola who has now sent him off on loan.
Speaking on his move to The Foxes, Mukasa says he cannot wait to learn from the experience as the side aim to push up from 16th in the table.
“I’m really pleased to be here and grateful for the opportunity. This is a great environment for me to learn, gain experience and continue my development.
“I want to work hard every day, take on everything I can from the staff and players around me, and contribute wherever I’m able to help the team.”
At Under-21 level this season, he has scored seven goals in 13 outings and across the Under-18 Premier League, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup, Mukasa has scored 17 goals and registered 24 assists across 34 appearances.
He will now seek to continue that form into the Championship, which will be a very tough test for the teenager under manager Martí Cifuentes.
