The Dutchman ran from one box to the other before driving the ball past FCK goalkeeper .
Afterwards, Van de Ven said: "I saw the space (open up) more and more and then I thought, 'I'm through now, I will shoot'. I went for goal and I scored. I'm feeling good (physically) and I felt amazing in that sprint. I thought, 'Okay I can keep going and going' and I did.
"I saw we had a counter attack, I saw Cuti (Romero) up front and I thought, 'Hey, what is he doing there?' But he stayed calm and he gave a perfect assist to João (Palhinha).
"When we got the red card (Brennan Johnson) I thought it was going to be tough but we stayed cool, we did what we needed to do and we killed the game off."
"For sure (we have some momentum). This was a an important one. Now we recover and focus on Saturday."
Meanwhile, after Saturday's tension, manager Thomas Frank said of Van de Ven's strike: "It seems like we had Lionel Messi turned into Micky van de Ven, roaring down from his own goal all the way to the other end and scored a fantastic goal.
"I think he's our top scorer in all competitions, so he can keep going. He can keep walking past me if he's angry after a game!"
