Bryan Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes were on the scoresheet against Tottenham as United boss Michael Carrick secured his fourth win a row since taking over the role from former manager Ruben Amorim last month.
United are on a roll as they maintained their grip on fourth spot in style as they seek to secure Champions League football. The side will be aiming to grab 5 wins in a row this week as they head to the capital.
The side will be without Patrick Dorgu Larsson (thigh Injury) Mason Mount (other) Matthijs de Ligt (lower Back Injury) for the clash however as Carrick prepares to rotate his side for the midweek clash.
“Mason (Mount) will be probably not for Tuesday, probably after, but definitely going into the Everton game, he’ll be back,” said Carrick on Monday.
“Matta (De Ligt), we'll see how he develops. The Everton game feels like a long time away at the moment, so we'll see how he develops, but he's positive, he's moving in the right direction, but Mason's a little bit closer than him.”
Despite the injuries, Carrick could name an unchanged side at the London Stadium given United’s good form as the former midfielder looks to sneak into the permanent manager position at the end of the season.
For The Hammers, Jean-Clair Todibo (suspended) and Lukasz Fabianski (lower Back Injury) are both out. Reports also suggest Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville & Aaron Wan Bissaka could also be out with unknown injuries but all 3 trained this week as many await updates.
