Liverpool face Paris Saint-Germain this week and will be without 4 key players for the clash.

Clashing in the Champions League knockouts for the second time in two seasons, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool enter a heated first leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday night.

The Reds enter the clash on the back of a 4-0 thumping to Manchester City which saw them exit the FA Cup. With the title far from reach, the Champions League remains the final competition the club can win this season.

PSG have also progressed from each of their last four Champions League quarter-final ties and are firm favourites for the tie as they aim to defend their European title.

Liverpool, who are already low on morale, will be without four key players including Conor Bradley (Knee Injury), Giovanni Leoni (Knee Injury), Wataru Endo (Ankle/Foot Injury) and Alisson Becker (Other) as Arne Slot relies on Jeremie Frimpong, Virgil van Dijk and Giorgi Mamardashvili at the back.

Slot was handed a boost however as summer signing Alexander Isak returned to training this week. The £125m attacker may be considered for a place on the bench this week having made the journey to France but is unlikely to start the game.

Liverpool actually won their last clash at PSG with Harvey Elliott scoring late in a 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes, but now they are without the England international, the squad will have to step up if they want to survive a trip to the French capital.
