Seedorf was speaking after McKennie and Juventus ran Galatasaray so close in last night's Champions League playoff clash.
Needing to overturn a 5-2 deficit from the first-leg of their Champions League playoff, Juve took the tie into extra-time before Gala struck twice to end the second-leg 3-2 in Juve's favour.
Gala move into the round of 16 7-5 on aggregate and Seedorf admits he was won over by USA international McKennie on the night.
He said, "I see myself in him in the early years of my career.
"He has everything: tactical intelligence and a desire to make himself available, but above all, excellent quality in both phases of the game."
On Juve striker Jonathan David, Seedorf added: "The striker stands out, but when he's not in a good moment, it's the team that has to take responsibility off him.
"David certainly has quality and is at Juventus for a reason. You can't just rely on one striker; if he doesn't score, the others have to perform better."
