Rashford has been able to establish himself as a regular in Hansi Flick's line up, grabbing 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions for the Spanish champions.
The United star can move to Barcelona with a £26M fee if the side decide to trigger his deal this summer as talks continue between the two sides.
However, a spanner has been thrown in the works as Robert Lewandowski could stay with the side past the summer.
Lewandowski’s contract with Barça runs until the end of June 2026 and despite reports suggesting that he is unsure on his future, Manchester Evening News reports that Barcelona have opened the door to him staying, and offered him a new contract.
In the current 2025/26 season, he has so far scored 16 goals and provided three assists in 37 appearances as he proves that he can still be integral for Flick despite turning 38 in August.
Reports indicate that the La Liga powerhouses are not intending to make a decision until the season's end which could cause Rashford problems as United may seek to speaks to other clubs.
Barca are yet to fully commit to paying the £26M and reports state that they have explored methods of reducing the price even if United stand firm on what is already a very low fee for the England star.
