A 4-1 victory at Liverpool on Wednesday night followed on from the 6-2 rout of Napoli.
Asked for the best result, Perisic said: “Both amazing results. To come to a place like this and get the win – it was a great performance. We defended and attacked very well, which allowed us to get the three points.”
Perisic opened the scoring at Anfield from the penalty spot and continued: "It’s always about getting through the league phase first, then we’ll see (how far we can go). We’ve picked up a lot of points and we’re in a good position, but we still have some difficult games to come.
“The fans were amazing. They always are away from home. They support us so well and help us wherever we go.”
Two-goal PSV attacker Couhaib Driouech also said: "On a UEFA Champions League night, I get super powers. I'm going to watch this moment maybe a million times over. This is very special. It's a boyhood dream come true.
“I’m dreaming right now. The boys did so well. I came on and luckily two chances, two goals.”
