The French champions are due to come up against The Reds in the Champions League quarter-finals, with the first leg in Paris to be held on April 8th before the return leg at Anfield on April 14th.
PSG were scheduled to face Lens in a top-of-the-table league clash on Saturday, April 11th just three days after hosting Liverpool in the first leg and three days before the second leg at Anfield.
However, the Administration Council of the LFP is said to have voted unanimously in favour of postponing the game.
This comes despite Lens having rallied against such a request which brings the integrity of both the Champions League and Ligue 1 into question.
Just one point separates leaders PSG and second-placed Lens who will be frustrated by such a decision that will hurt their chances at winning the title this season.
Liverpool host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, April 11th meaning they will not get a rest between the two clashes, handing the Premier League side a major disadvantage.
A spokesperson for PSG told BBC Sport that "this type of rescheduling has been carried out regularly by the LFP in the past for the benefit of French clubs" and "in no way calls the league into question".
The LFP agreed a similar change to the Ligue 1 schedule earlier this month to allow PSG rest between their Champions League last-16 clashes with Chelsea.
