The Reds eased past Marseille 3-0 in their most recent European clash and will aim to bounce back from their 3-2 loss to Bournemouth over the weekend.
Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate will not be involved in the final league phase match on Wednesday evening as they join Geovani Leoni in the medical room after the Italian picked up a critical ACL injury.
Nallo is now on Liverpool's B list of registered players, meaning he can be involved in the game even if he is unlikely to start under manager Arne Slot who will be keen to pick up 3 points to automatically qualify for the next round.
The 19-year-old has already made two senior appearances for the club, both of which ended in a sending off against PSV Eindhoven and Crystal Palace back in October.
Fellow defender Calvin Ramsay cannot play in the Champions League because he has not been registered in the Reds’ List A squad, meaning Slot is short on defensive options as Nallo looks to get another chance.
Speaking after the Palace game in which Nallo was given his marching order, Slot said:
“I didn’t need to say that much. Another thing which I liked – it’s not the most important thing – but Ibou and Virgil immediately went inside to talk to him.
“That tells me that they are great human beings in a moment like this when a young player for the second time is being sent off – maybe the first time after he played against PSV, I’m not 100% sure, but I think he did – that they feel how difficult that moment for him is, to go inside and be supportive for him. It wasn’t needed that I took care of him. These two already took care of him.”
