Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City have all joined Liverpool and Arsenal in the Champions League last-16.
The Blues beat Napoli on Wednesday night to book their place in the next round, a win helped by Joao Pedro’s fine performance as he gets back into form under Rosenior.
The former Hull City and Strasbourg manager has turned the Chelsea side around after the departure of former manager Enzo Maresca and the West London club look to be one of the favourites to go all the way in Europe this season.
Speaking after the game, Joe Cole was all praise for Rosenior and his side who he says are still slowly adapting to their new tactical style.
"It’s been fantastic, superb. A lot of people talk about what he’s been saying, but you need to look at the team. They’ve won five out of six games now and gone to Napoli and won. You can’t really knock that.
"Liam is still getting his style of play in, but the character was really impressive. A Chelsea team who went behind could have got rolled over a few months ago so he’s instilled something in them.
"The lads look happy. Joao Pedro can sometimes look a bit on the periphery, but he was right at it tonight. It was a great performance."
Chelsea welcome West Ham to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday as they aim to burst into the top 4 and jump over Manchester United in what has been an excellent run of form.
