Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has heaped praise on to Chelsea's Estevao who he believes can reach the very top.

Estevao stunned Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night with a stunning solo goal against Barcelona to help his side to what was an easy 3-0 victory. A clean sheet and three goals was enough to send a message to the rest of Europe as Chelsea aim to top the group.

Henry spoke to CBS Sports after the game about how the Brazilian wonder kid is something special and could be compared to one Manchester United legend.

“You wouldn’t like to play against him.

“I’m not saying that you wouldn’t be able to stop him but he’s coming at you all the time.

“He’s reminding me of, I know it’s early doors, but that’s why I think Ryan Giggs was one of the best because he was coming at you all game.

“Whether he’s having a good game or not a good game, he’s trying to test you all the time and see if you’re going to stop him or not.

“That’s how it is as a winger.”

Estevao has good company

Estevao became only the third player to score in his first three Champions League appearances, as he joined the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

“The first quality of the kid is to dribble,' Henry continued. 'Why are you going to take it away?

“If I'm going to make you tired, it's like if you stoped a boxer (from jabbing). If I go at you five, to six, seven times, you to stop me, you go to the eighth time, 'oh he's tired', ninth time, 'oh he doesn't want me any more', 10th, 11th it's easy and I score at the end.

“If I don't make you run all the time, it's an easy job for you as a right back.'

“Let him cook, let him play. We need to enjoy these type of players. I mentioned Michael Olise, Bukayo Saka, it doesn't have to be scripted all the time.'

Chelsea now face two tough trips to Italy against Atalanta and Napoli before they face Pafos in their final home game.
