City were due to train on Tuesday in front of the media, but the session was canceled by Guardiola.

Instead, the players will assemble tomorrow morning ahead of meeting Dortmund, with no pre-match training session held.

The Manchester Evening News says Guardiola's decision is a first for City in European competition this century. With tomorrow's tie against Dortmund being the first without a training session the previous day.

The players worked at the City Football Academy on Monday for a training and recovery session after defeating Bournemouth on Sunday.

It's been suggested Guardiola made the decision to cancel today's session to aid the recovery of his senior players.
