Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has spoken to the media as he prepares to face Liverpool.

Tottenham have now lost three of their last five Premier League games and enter the game against the Reds on the back of a 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

Frank's side lack consistency

Spurs are six points off Chelsea in the fourth and final Champions League spot as pressure grows on Frank who first commented on finding consistency which his side have a severe lack of at the moment.

"It's a fair comment. The best teams create a stamina where they are very resilient to setbacks. That's something we're working hard on. That's not a quick fix.

"The Fulham game was not a great start, tough 30 minutes but we worked our way back. We didn't get the fantastic comeback, but it was a good step - mentality, character wise.

"It's bit by bit."

It is a privilege to be Tottenham boss

Reports suggest Frank retains the board's backing for the time being, but if results do not improve he may be pushed out the door, much like Ange Postecoglou earlier this year.

Frank was asked about fans questioning his future after recent results and admitted he is doing everything he can to turn the side around.

"There will always be fans questioning the coach wherever you are. Then there will be the loyal ones that can see the perspective. First of all, I'd say to Spurs fans it's a privilege to be part of this big club. To fulfil that, there's a lot of stages we need to go through.

"I would say to the Spurs fans, it is a privilege to be a part of this fantastic club with fantastic potential. We want to fulfil that. I'm working 24/7 to make sure we get everything right.

"First and foremost I am most critical of myself, we are a lot of people that need to perform well together."

Liverpool are an excellent side

Finally, Frank commented on opponents Liverpool who kept clean sheets against Brighton & Hove Albion and Inter Milan heading into the game as they seek to burst into the top four.

"They're an excellent team, they're the champions. They started very well. They signed fantastic players, Hugo Ekitike, what a season he's having.

"Isak is a top striker, he will come good and Wirtz is fantastic but still adapting to the league.

"Szoboszlai is a beast, he will play tomorrow of course."
