Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmoller admits Liverpool's set-pieces made the difference on Wednesday night.

After going ahead, Eintracht Frankfurt were beaten 5-1 at home in this Champions League clash.

Toppmoller later said, "We knew Liverpool would have more possession. However, they didn't have many big chances because we did well defensively overall.

"Nevertheless, in the end, it was the two set-pieces that cost us the game. If you want to get something out of a game at this level, you have to be fully focused during these phases."

He also conceded: "The fact is that Liverpool are bigger, they have bigger players in their ranks.

"And when the lads come at us with that momentum and we get caught out, then it's obvious that you can't defend that in the end."
