Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior is set to have his future decided before the side face Manchester United this weekend.

Rosenior has been in charge for three months but has failed to turn The Blues around in such a limited amount of time as the side struggle to jump into the Champions League spots ahead of next season.

Chelsea are four points behind fifth-placed Liverpool in the Premier League, could qualify for the Champions League and may be on track to win the FA Cup for the first time since 2018 in the best case scenario for the side.

Now, as reported by The Express, Chelsea bosses have belief in Rosenior and will keep him even if they don't secure Champions League qualification.

With six games remaining, Everton and Brentford are just a point behind, while Brighton and Sunderland are two points back. The pressure is on Rosenior, but it looks like the board are willing to stick by him for the foreseeable future.

Sunday evening's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City was yet another humbling defeat for the West London side who, despite mass spending, are still lingering in mid-table.

Speaking after the City defeat, Rosenior said that he hoped he would be given time to build something “very special” at Chelsea as he looks towards next season where is looks like he will still be in the hot seat.

It is now five defeats in their last six games in all competitions for Chelsea and as they prepare to face United this weekend, it looks the result will not affect Rosenior even as fans grow frustrated.
