The Serie A champions kickoff their Champions League campaign this week against Manchester City.
Benitez told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "(Napoli president Aurelio) De Laurentiis has invested intelligently and massively with Conte, starting a cycle that will now be tested in Europe as well: it won't be easy to remain competitive on both fronts, but the coach's depth will help.
"Atalanta is an unknown quantity: I like the way this masterpiece has been built over time. Inter, on the other hand, are facing a strange situation, the result of many small, micro-traumas: for a while, they carried the defeat in Paris with them, but I don't think that has any impact now.
"But action is needed, and immediately. And Juve? They've already given some indications: Saturday's victory is a very strong signal, both to themselves and to the others."
