The Gunners have 70 points after 31 games, while City have 61 points after 30 matches and the title is theirs as long as they can remain consistent.

On Tuesday, Arsenal beat Bayer Leverkusen to book a place in the next round of the Champions League as the club remain in all competitions under Mikel Arteta.

Now, despite being the favourites for every competition they remain in, Ambrosini spoke to BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest Champions League odds about how they should focus on the league.

“If you don't win the title for 20 years, I think your first goal should be to win the league, because the Champions League is sometimes even harder.

“Arsenal right now, for me, deserve to win the title this season for what they've shown over these last eight months. For me, they even have the squad to win the Champions League.

“If I were an Arsenal fan, I would pick one and the Premier League would, of course, be the first choice.”

Arsenal are not back in Premier League action until April 11th, when they host Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium. They next face City in the EFL Cup final as they aim for their first piece of silverware.
