The 35-year-old’s contract with Bayern Munich ended this summer following their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, marking the close of a remarkable career with the Bundesliga giants.
As Bayern’s all-time leading assist provider, Muller scored 250 goals and registered 276 assists, helping the club secure 12 Bundesliga titles and two Champions League trophies in 756 appearances across all competitions.
The Vancouver Whitecaps are reportedly in talks with FC Cincinnati over Muller’s Discovery Rights, as Cincinnati currently holds them. While nothing is official yet, Müller has confirmed his next club will be “across the pond.”
In addition to his football career, Müller is a published author. In Germany, he wrote and published a children’s book titled Mein Weg in Die Startelf.
