Tottenham centre-back Luka Vuskovic who is on loan at Hamburg has revealed that he does not know when he may return.

Vuskovic was recently named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for what was the second time in a row for October, as he beat Bayer Leverkusen duo Christian Kofane and Ernest Poku to retain the crown he won in September.

The 18-year-old wonder kid has taken Germany by storm and has quickly become a fan favourite at Hamburg, where he is leading the side back to the Bundesliga.

However, whilst reports claim that he could soon return for Spurs boss Thomas Frank, the defender has revealed he has other plans.

Speaking to Croatian outlet MAXSport, he stated that he would like to stay and play with his brother Mario, who is currently serving a doping ban until November 2026.

“I would like to play with him one day, I hope that works out. I would like to stay at HSV for another season and play with my brother.

“I’m happy with everything at HSV.

"My grades are good, even above expectations. My team-mates are great, everyone supports me and I have no bad words or criticism. I just need to keep going.

“I hear from (Tottenham), they follow me. They are a good club when it comes to developing young players. I don’t know when I will be back.”

Vuskovic scored in September's 2-1 league victory over Heidenheim and additionally helped his side pick up a last-gasp point against Borussia Dortmund last weekend. Despite his quality, a return to Spurs is unlikely anytime soon, and it may be over a year before Frank implements him into the squad.
