Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich moved nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga with victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend.
The England captain’s brace took his total for the season to 28 goals in 23 Bundesliga games for the German side, who snagged a bargain when they stole him away for around £82M.
Before the game began, Kane was honoured with a poster to celebrate his reaching 500 career goals for club and country as he continues to prove that he is one of the best strikers on the planet.
Sami Khedira, who was speaking as part of Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Real Club Legends campaign, has praised Kane, who he believes offers more than goals.
“He’s not just a striker anymore, he’s a number ten too, and sometimes he’s even playing like an extra centre back,” said Khedira.
“He’s not the youngest, he’s not the fastest, but he’s the most crucial player in the team (For Bayern Munich).
“He’s outstanding and, unfortunately…he’s English.”
The 32-year-old has entered the final 18 months of his contract with Bayern Munich and saw his release clause drop to £57M in January. He is set to sign a contract extension, however, ahead of the World Cup where he will aim to lead England to glory once again.
