Dier came off contract at Bayern this past summer ahead of signing with AS Monaco.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Dier had only good things to say about Bayern coach Vincent Kompany.
"I had a fantastic relationship with them and with Kompany. He was the best coach I've ever worked under,“ he insisted.
"We just couldn't reach an agreement that was acceptable to everyone, and so it all ended very amicably and respectfully."
