Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is reportedly thinking about his future as he struggles on loan at Bayern Munich.

Jackson has scored 3 goals and provided a single assist in 13 competitive appearances under Bayern boss Vincent Kompany so far, as he competes with arguably the best striker in the world in Harry Kane for minutes this season.

The 24-year-old forward has reportedly seen his valuation drop by €11.5M whilst out on loan so far this season, as he struggles for chances on the pitch.

There is believed to be an obligation to buy included in the deal between the two sides in the region of £56.2M but that will only occur if Jackson reaches a certain amount of appearances that is said to be almost impossible.

Now, as many speculate on his future, Standard Sport and Bullinews have reported that despite his lack of minutes and drop in valuation, Jackson is set to stay with the German champions until the end of the season.

The Colombia international striker has played only 420 minutes so far as he plays second fiddle to Kane. Reports suggested he may force a move away in January to find regular game time. These reports have now been quashed as he stays with Kompany who may hand him more minutes as Bayern cruise ahead in the Bundesliga.

Speaking at his unveiling in Bavaria back in September, Jackson commented:

“It was tough; a tough time. Difficult moments in those last days.

“But I was very confident I will stay here because this is where I want to play and want to be. It was very tough, but in the end we got it, so I'm very glad.”
