Diaz scored as Bayern won 4-3 against Real Madrid to win their quarterfinal 6-4 on aggregate.
The Colombia attacker said afterwards: "Very happy to qualify. We wanted it and went for it from the beginning. We knew it was going to be difficult; Real Madrid is a very big team and has a lot of experience. Thanks to God, I was able to score and help the team win."
Regarding Eduardo Camavinga's sending off for time-wasting, Diaz said, "The referee was correct, in my opinion. He didn't give up the ball; we wanted to take the kickoff quickly. He was carrying the ball on his own. We pushed forward."
On facing PSG in the semifinal, Diaz added: "Just as difficult. We'll approach it as a very big match. We already played each other in the league phase. We know each other very well. Very demanding. It's time to rest and review everything to make corrections."
