Afterwards, Bayern veteran Josh Kimmich said: "Especially in the second half, we had one or two good chances. We could have scored one or two more goals.
"You could tell we weren't starting from scratch, but that we already had a certain rhythm. Luis Díaz is someone who loves football and always has a smile on his face."
Serge Gnabry also stated: "It's always nice to win the first match. It's fantastic to be back on the pitch. We have a good foundation, like last year. It's repetition that counts, so that things continue to improve.
