Karl is under contract with Bayern Munich until June 2028. Furthermore, once he turns 18 (on February 22nd), this contract will become a professional one and will be extended for another year.

According to BILD, Bayern management isn't satisfied and already exploring the possibility of extending his contract until 2031.
The proposed agreement would include a significant salary increase. Instead of the €1-2 million he currently earns, the Germany U21 international could earn between €5 and €7 million annually.
The pay-hike would represent a substantial sum considering he has only made 21 official appearances for the first team.
