The 17-year-old defender is expected to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal that will come into effect once he turns 18 in February. This comes from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who revealed the news on Monday afternoon.

“Seen as one of the best CB prospects in Ecuador, Olaya will sign a 4.5 year deal from February 2026.

Olaya plays as a centre-back, and although he has rarely featured in the squad, he has started five games for SD Aucas in the Ecuadorian first division this season.
Reports state that Grasshopper Club Zürich are said to be interested in bringing in the defender on loan, but it is too early to suggest that Bayern will accept an offer as they prepare to welcome the exciting prospect to Europe.
