Bayern are in Madrid tonight for the first-leg of their quarterfinal tie.
Babbel told Sky90: "Real Madrid is the most unlikeable club in Europe, and it would be great if Bayern advanced to the next round."
He added: "Their behavior in recent years is, in my opinion, extremely unsportsmanlike . It has nothing to do with fair play anymore, and I get the feeling that they think they are superior to others, that they see themselves as better than everyone else.
"That irritates me a great deal; it makes me feel a total dislike for them."
Babbel recalled when Real Madrid boycotted the 2024 Ballon d'Or gala after Vinicius failed to win it: "If one of their players doesn't win the Ballon d'Or, then we as a team aren't going to boycott the event. I think it's disrespectful to everyone else, and that's why the club has lost so much respect in my eyes. I simply find them incredibly unlikeable."
And the former defender doesn't hesitate to criticise Vinicius as well: "They have some players in their ranks that I don't like. Vinicius , when I see how he plays football, the talent he has, and then when I see him fall and roll 14 times with every move , I just don't like it."
