According to Sky Sports, Vincent Kompany’s side are actively pursuing the 23-year-old, who has already scored five goals in his eight Bundesliga games so far.
It’s understood that Bayern are hoping to sign Asllani as back up to Harry Kane, with the view of the Hoffenheim man taking over from the prolific England international in the not-so-distant future.
Bayern aren’t the only European giant keeping tabs on Asllani, however, with Barcelona also interested in the striker.
Hansi Flick’s side are on the lookout for an heir to Robert Lewandowski, who is expected to leave once his contract expires at the end of the season.
