Senegal plan to parade the Africa Cup of Nations trophy even though their title was stripped earlier this month.

Morocco were suddenly awarded the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations trophy earlier this month after Senegal were stripped of their title by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

This is due to several Senegal players walking off the pitch in protest at a penalty awarded to hosts Morocco during the final, shortly after they had had a goal disallowed.

Play resumed after nearly 20 minutes and Senegal went on to win the game and lift the trophy in celebration.

Senegal were deemed to have forfeited the final in one of the most controversial moves in football history that was appealed by the country earlier this week.

Abdoulaye Fall, president of the FSF, declared: "In the face of this administrative robbery, the FSF refuses fatality. We will fight a moral and legal crusade."

Now, as per the BBC, FSF social media posted a timetable for events around Saturday's friendly at the Stade de France against Peru which included a trophy parade.

The FSF's legal representatives are scheduled to address journalists at a press conference in Paris on Thursday before the planned trophy parade takes place.

When asked if the trophy would be presented to fans at the Stade de France, Mr Fall responded: "I'll see you at the Stade de France on March 28th."
