The Cameroon Football Federation announced the dismissal of Brys as coach of the Indomitable Lions just 20 days before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations.
This decision follows the re-election of Eto'o as president, despite the country's failure to qualify for the World Cup.
Speaking to Sporza, Brys insists his dismissal was driven by Eto'o.
He began, sarcastically: "Recently, the mandate of the great president Samuel Eto'o was extended by four years. Furthermore, there were no other candidates."
Brys then added, "In my opinion, he exploited this situation to carry out an illegal and ridiculous stunt."
The Belgian continued: "He eliminated all positions at the Ministry of Sport, including the national team's coaching staff, and filled them with people of his own choosing. Firing everyone without a valid reason seems completely illegal to me. You can't act like this without a legitimate reason.
"Just before an important tournament for our national team, he appoints unprepared people. They are thrown to the wolves. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the world."
Brys concluded: "Samuel Eto'o's goal has always been to get rid of me. From the first minute he insulted me and I reacted. I'd had enough; there's too much negativity to do a good job."
