Mohamed Ouahbi’s Atlas Lions started brightly, with Ismael Saibari scoring twice in the third and 25th minutes, the second assisted by Bilal El Khannouss.
After dominating possession throughout, the North Africans added further goals in the second half. Soufiane Rahimi converted a penalty in the 78th minute before Ayoub El Kaabi sealed the win in the 84th minute.
Coach Ouahbi used the opportunity to rotate his squad extensively after the break, introducing several substitutions to assess tactical options and player depth ahead of the global tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The result underlined Morocco’s strong form and attacking sharpness as they edge closer to World Cup preparations.
