Mourinho's contract runs until the end of the current season and depending on the results, either party can terminate it immediately within ten days of the end of rhe campaign, according to the CNMV (Spanish Securities Market Commission).

Both parties will need to agree to not activate this release clause.
Mourinho was named new Benfica coach on Thursday, marking a 25-year return to the club where he began his senior coaching career.
"My promise is: I will live for Benfica, live for my mission," Mourinho told reporters at the club's training ground in Seixal, near Lisbon yesterday.
"I'm not important - Benfica is important, Benfica fans are important. I'm here to serve."
