The 25-year-old returned to the side for the FA Cup fourth round and delivered a dominant display, opening the scoring with a brilliant long-range strike before half-time, then netting directly from a corner early in the second half.
After Estevao Willian’s goal, Neto completed his treble with a neat one-two with Liam Delap, finishing calmly into the corner. His hat-trick takes him to ten goals and four assists this season, with Rosenior praising both his talent and defensive work rate.
“Pedro Neto brings us so many different qualities that we need,” Rosenior said.
“For me, he’s a world-class player, a world-class winger. And what I love about him, as talented as he is and as gifted as he is, what he sacrifices for the team is top.
“He's going to be really, really important for us for where I think we can get to and what we can achieve for the rest of the season.”
