Firstly, it was announced on Thursday that Ibrahima Konate will leave Merseyside once his contract expires next month, before Arne Slot was sacked on Saturday.
In the same week, Andy Robertson agreed to join Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer once he leaves Liverpool in June, giving the potential new manager food for thought in the left-back department.
Robertson was in direct competition with Milos Kerkez for a place in the starting lineup last term, and many believe someone to replace the Scotsman is needed.
However, according to Ben Jacobs, the returning Kostas Tsimikas fancies his chances of staying at Anfield and fighting for his place in the team.
Tsimikas spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at AS Roma, but only made 18 Serie A appearances as Liverpool attempted to bring him back to the club in January.
The Greek international, who has 18 assists in 115 appearances for the Reds, will now have his future decided by whoever replaces Slot.
