Klopp is the current Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull after being appointed in October 2024. He oversees the strategic vision of the organisation, assisting with scouting and mentoring coaching staff across the company's international network of football clubs.
Despite being settled in his role, talk of a return to management refuses to fade, and according to Ben Jacobs, the 58-year-old is Al-Ittihad's 'dream' target.
Sérgio Conceição is the current head coach of the Saudi Arabian side, but Jacobs claims that it would be "near impossible" to convince the legendary manager to take over as he's "happy" at Red Bull.
Al-Ittihad, spearheaded by the likes of Moussa Diaby and Youssef En-Nesyri, finished 5th in the Saudi Pro League at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
That was an alarming drop off after winning the league in 2025, and unfortunately, the chances of Klopp becoming manager are very slim.
