Fuchs, a member of Leicester’s Premier League title-winning squad from 2015-16, and current Newport County manager has now revealed he spoke with Vardy over a potential return.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Fuchs admitted he held talks with Vardy over a potential move to the League Two side.
“I asked Jamie if he wants to pack his bags. Of course I did, even though I knew what the answer would be!” he said.
