Everton are the latest Premier League club to sell their women’s team to a sister company, a strategic move aimed at increasing transfer funds and staying within Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

The deal, reportedly worth around £60 million, mirrors recent approaches taken by Chelsea and Aston Villa to remain PSR compliant.

According to The Times, Everton have transferred ownership of their women’s team to Roundhouse Capital Holdings, a company controlled by club owner Dan Friedkin.

The internal sale is expected to generate an on-paper profit of around £60 million, providing a significant financial boost.

This move will help the club stay within the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules while also enhancing their summer transfer budget.
