The Portuguese centre-back believes there is still strong motivation among football’s greatest names to continue competing at the highest level.
Speaking to A Bola, Dias reflected on the growing narrative that the tournament in North America will be the last global stage for era-defining players like Ronaldo, Messi and Modric.
"Let's see…", Dias added on what winning the elusive trophy would mean. "It is an extra motivation factor," he explained regarding their historic quest.
