The Bundesliga leaders have been in talks with the 27-year-old over a new contract for the past few months, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Upamecano has now agreed terms with Bayern and informed other clubs of his decision to stay.
Upamecano had been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Liverpool with both clubs looking to sign new centre backs.
His new deal is until 2031, keeping him at the Allianz Arena for the next five years.
