The Whites emerged triumphant thanks to a last-gasp winner from Lukas Nmecha, whose substitution proved an inspired decision by Farke.
The German striker, coming off the bench, made an immediate impact, finding the net in stoppage time to seal a 1-0 win.
“Today, we faced a really in-form Fulham side who have delivered result after result in recent weeks,” the boss told the media.
“We fully deserved to win this game. We didn’t give one proper chance during the whole game away. We have missed several chances, stayed relentless till the end.
“We are able to deliver a clean sheet today. And then also in this manner, late heartbreak against Newcastle, and then today we were there with a late goal.
“To deliver when it counts is for me a really great feeling and the lads deserve all the praise that we showed again.
“I think today was important to find a good balance. We still wanted to be rock solid and not to run into counter attacks.
“Great mentality today, great self-belief and fully deserved to win this game. So, for me, fantastic day for us and they are allowed to enjoy this also a little bit.”
