It was a fitting farewell to an unbelievable reign for Oliver Glasner, who lifted his third trophy since taking charge of the Eagles after winning the FA Cup and Community Shield.
Glasner announced his exit from Selhurst Park a while ago and is now a top contender to join AC Milan, with Steve Parish searching for his replacement.
Andoni Iraola was Palace's main target, but he now looks set to join Liverpool, and it appears they've turned their attention to Lens manager Pierre Sage.
According to Ben Jacobs, the South London club are "exploring a move" for Sage, and he is also one of several names "appreciated" by Liverpool.
Spearheaded by the tactical brilliance of Sage, Lens finished second by six points to PSG in Ligue 1 and recently won the French Cup final against OGC Nice.
The 47-year-old has two years left to run on his contract and it appears the Premier League could be his next destination.
